Lisa
Quirke graduated from her Degree in Photography from The
Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2002 finishing with
an end of year show in London’s Brick Lane as part
of emerging young photographers exhibition.
She returned to Wexford and started teaching photography
on the then new photography course at the Wexford Vocational
College and has continued to teach adults in both full daytime
and evening classes. Lisa
has had work published in various national magazines and
newspapers including The Times, The Independent and Social
and Personal and also does hair and beauty and fashion shoots
for businesses and portfolios.
Wedding photography comes quite naturally then as getting
the best photos from any given situation is a must for Lisa
often drawing on her experience in fashion photography to
depict the drama and passion of the day. Her albums could
be described as contemporary classic often using both black
and white images and always capturing the essence of the
day in beautiful timeless images. The albums are devotedly
layed out in a way that makes each one totally individual
to each couple and best describes their special day. The
result is nothing short of stunning.
